Tin Foil Boat

⭐⭐⭐

Equipment: Tin foil, tubs or bins, and some sort of weight

Give each child an equal length of tin foil (about 1 - 2 arm's lengths). Have them try to shape their tin foil into boats. They can be simple or elaborate, whatever floats your boat. Fill a bin (or more if you have a lot of kids) with water and have them try out floating their boats. Once they are ready, put weights of some sort on their boats and see who's can hold the most. You can use coins, or toy cars, marbles, or something else. If you don't have incremental weights, just use something as a challenge; can your boat hold a lacrosse ball?
