Dead Ant

Place mats in opposite sides of the playing area. Choose one or two people to be It. If they tag you, you lie down on the floor and stick your arms and legs in the air. To be saved, four players must come and carry you, one to each limb, to the the ant hospital (the mats). Once there you come back to life. Players cannot be tagged while they are holding on to someone's arm or leg.

Safety is a key concern, so emphasize the importance of being gentle and avoiding injury to the head. You can have the children slide the dead ants across the floor rather than lift them in the air.
